Wade Chapman

CF Level 1 Trainer, Advocare Coach

Coach Wade started his CrossFit journey in April of 2012. After many years of lifting weights and working out, he decided to look for something different than the monotony of the weight room. CrossFit seemed like a great solution and he quickly found that it was the perfect fit.

Coach Wade has always been very competitive with a very successful wrestling career all the way through the collegiate level. That experience has helped him become internally motivated to be competitive not only with others, but even more so with himself. This is the main reason he enjoys CrossFit.

Coach Wade is a true coach at heart. He chose to get his level one certification in October, 2015. Not only does he coach CrossFit at APC, he also is the assistant varsity wrestling coach at Medina High School. In both realms, the thing he loves most about coaching is seeing people hit their goals and getting to know people on a personal level. He also loves the APC community and especially, the close-knit group of friends he has been able to meet throughout this process. One of his biggest accomplishments was getting his wife, Heidi, involved in CrossFit. Together, they share a love for this sport and are proud to be fitness role models for their children. It’s not unusual to see Wade and his family spending time together at the gym.

Coach Wade hopes to continue seeing the members of APC work hard to achieve successful results. He is full of encouragement and when the workout is tough, you have fun in his class!
